Pura Taman Ayun Bali

Taman Ayun, means beautiful garden, located in the village of Mengwi, 18 km west of Denpasar, Bali is truly one of the most picturesque temples. The King of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Anom, built is provided stately courtyards and large gap around the year of 1634. Containing both the royal family and ancestral shrines strayed Meru sanctuaries for big divinities, Taman Ayun became the principal temple for the ancient Kingdom of Mengwi.
